Years ago, I worked at a quilt shop. I helped customers, pieced shop samples, taught a few classes here and there. But my favorite thing was unboxing new fabrics. My heart would skip a beat when the UPS truck stopped out front and the UPS man started unloading those big heavy boxes. Even better if the boxes had the signature white and blue tape of Moda fabrics!
Yesterday, I got a box of Moda goodies of my own. I’d forgotten how much I loved unpacking those boxes. Unfortunately for me, but fortunately for my checking account, this delivery wasn’t bolts upon bolts of fabrics. This was a much smaller box, new fabrics for some secret sewing.
